Role/Responsibilities
**The Role / Responsibilities**:
We are looking for a business analyst who brings innovative thinking to help drive the growth of Moody’s Analytics APAC and Middle East Sales organization. The growth of our Sales organization requires a business analyst to support projects and programs that will significantly drive customer acquisition, customer expansion and increased market share. Working directly with the sales management team, you will partner with colleagues in Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Business Systems, Sales Analytics and Sales Operations to design and deliver new capabilities to our Sales organization.
**Responsibilities**
- Lead and develop customized analytics and reporting of sales performance to senior management including, but not limited to: pipeline health checks and win/loss rates, sales velocity, key accounts buying behaviours analysis and cross-sell opportunities’ identification, etc.
- Liaise with Sales Strategy and Financial Planning teams for sales performance analysis and forecasting
- Be the central point to collaborate closely with the Business Development functions from the various MA Operating Units
- Conduct regular assessments of sales activities, formulate process changes and execute the implementation plan to drive sales strategy effectiveness, accelerate growth and improve efficiency
- Working with sales enablement team to evaluate sales enabling technology tools & services.
- Lead the collaboration of sales generating activities such as lead generation, sales campaigns, events, awards programs with internal stakeholders
- Analyze the performance of lead generation, sales campaigns and events performance based on quantitative results
- Develop and execute solid and innovative sales strategies by keeping updated on the market developments and trends
**Qualifications**:
- Five years working in sales strategy, sales analytics and/or financial planning. Experience in firms selling risk and financial assessment solutions, understanding of the sales process, the customers’ personas, customer’s journey and evolving buying behaviours.
- Experience with and understanding of sales process and functions such as pipeline management, forecasting, and lead generation and qualification is required.
- Highly organized, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Skilled at active listening. Able to independently translate general feedback or broad visions from the field into actionable, structured plans with measurable metrics.
- Strong teamwork and demonstrated leadership skills. Highly responsive and proactive in issue resolution and communication across numerous stakeholders.
- Highly self-motivated and results-driven. Able to manage projects, complete assignments, and resolve issues proactively without oversight or direction.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills (including presentation skills); shown ability to establish relationships at all levels and across different departments or teams.
- Demonstrates good judgment, strong critical and creative thinking skills in problem-solving and issue resolution.
- Translate complex data and distil them into a simplified stories and graphics
- Proactively explore new and innovative visual approaches and techniques for data-driven storytelling, specific to management use case
