Regional Controller, Middle East, and Asia

You will serve as Business Partner of Region Vice President driving sales and service operational excellence in the Region, dealing with both the investment (cost and hours) and the outcome (quotation hit rate, sales growth, share of customers’ wallet and profitability). You will also coordinate internal control and risk management activities of the spare parts business in the Singapore Principal Company and any adjacent GSD businesses start-ups (SaaS, EaaS contracts) in close cooperation with the Profit Center Controllers.

**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Lead (virtual) team of area controllers in the Region
- Support region management in:

- implementation GSD strategy and corporate strategic initiatives according to Hoshin Kanri methodology
- tactical decision making about market development including planning of account sales, pricing, preparation of business cases and participation in customer negotiations (sales campaigns, package deals, service contracts, etc.)
- steering performance of sales and service operations by determining financial and non-financial targets and measuring the outcome with regular frequency and investigating root-cause of any deviations
- Driving cost optimization initiatives in the Region including coordination of cost planning, forecasting and analysis of variances
- Support Profit Center controllers in forecasting market growth (potential), market share (or gap-to-potential) and profitability by product and customer segments in the Region
- Monitor quality of and compliance with internal controls and risk management activities in the Region
- Monitor quality of and compliance with internal controls and risk management activities in the Principal Company, including foreign currency risk management
- Prepare periodic and ad hoc management reports
- Support internal development projects including integration of new M&A

**What you’ll need to succeed**:
**Education**
- University degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent

**Experience**
- Minimum five years experience in controller role in an international B2B environment, preferably in after-sales
- Minimum three years experience in leading (small) team of professionals

- Willingness to travel abroad regularly
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
