Senior Product Manager

As a Senior Product Manager for our CPaaS Advanced Messaging portfolio, you will be at the forefront of defining the future of business communication. You will lead the vision and strategy for our cutting-edge OTT channels (WhatsApp, Viber, WeChat), workflow automation, and conversational SaaS offerings.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to deeply understand user needs and preferences, and stay up-to-date on industry trends and innovations
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Advanced Messaging products strategic plan, including market positioning, use-cases, and innovation initiatives
- Own the product roadmap for the Advanced Messaging portfolio, including prioritization, planning, specifications, development coordination, testing, training, and go-to-market activities
- Define and track key performance metrics for the Advanced Messaging portfolio, and continuously analyze and report on business, quality, and usage trends
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry experts, to gather feedback, explore usage patterns, and integrate insights into the product roadmap
- Drive cross-functional initiatives to deliver a seamless and best-in-class Advanced Messaging experience across different touchpoints (8x8 Converse, 8x8 Connect, Automation Builder, etc.)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Operations, Finance, and Engineering, to ensure smooth product launches and successful go-to-market activities
- Mentor and lead a team of Product Managers, providing guidance, support, and coaching to help them reach their full potential

**Qualifications**:

- Essential to have Product Management experience in a software company, with relevant knowledge and background in Messaging/conversational/chatbot/workflow automation
- Strong understanding of API products and experience working with a developer/enterprise audience
- Strong proficiency in SQL for database interaction and data analysis, with experience in monitoring and reporting.
- Working knowledge of API testing and interaction, with experience using tools such as Postman for testing, demonstrations, and documentation purposes
- Proven track record of successfully shipping products in a fast-paced environment (startup, technology company)
- Expertise in building and managing technology partnerships with vendors and integrator
- Excellent understanding of Agile software development methodologies and experience leading cross-functional teams through the entire product development life cycle
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to quickly understand technical problems and plan effective solutions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate both business and technical rationale behind product decision
- Strong analytical skills and ability to influence others through data-driven insights and market trends
- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and lead a team of Product Managers
