**Purpose of Position**
- Manage the Mechanical team (Static & Rotating) to execute all Static & Rotating Equipment Preventive & Corrective Maintenance.
- Ensure execution of all condition monitoring program & reliability centred maintenance program.
- Lead the team to scope & budget, prepare & execute plant Turnaround, both for the main plant and satellite plants.
- Provide technical supports and specify maintenance requirements to the project design & execution team.
- Manage equipment database and up-to-date bill of materials (BOM) in SAP Maintenance module.
- Manage Warehouse & spares inventory with the help of Warehouse supervisor & assistants.

**Principal Responsibilities**
- Responsible for the execution of all Static & Rotating Equipment Preventive & Corrective Maintenance activities.
- Responsible for the period review of existing PM and inclusion of new PM based on Local and Global PM standard requirements of the plants.
- Responsible for the scoping, budgeting, preparation & execution of plant Turnaround, for main plant and satellite plants, both in Jurong Island and Mainland.
- Responsible for the execution of overhaul, modification and replacement of major (Static & Rotating) equipment based on Global PM requirements, Reliability Team’s recommendations and HAZOP/Audit/RCA findings.
- Responsible for the review of Method Statement and Risk Assessment of mechanical works, both routine and non-routine.
- Responsible for the upkeeping and updating of maintenance records of mechanical equipment due to modification, repair or replacement.
- Manage the training, mentoring & coaching to junior engineers & technicians so that they are trained and competent in their role & responsibility.
- Responsible for root cause analysis (RCA) on mechanical failures, recommend corrective actions and follow up on closure of the actions.
- Strategize mechanical equipment renewal plan, initiate the Engineering Management of Change (EMOC) and execute the plan.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 10 years of plant maintenance experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industry preferred.
- Experience in a Process Plant such as Gasification/SMR/ASU is an advantage.
- Good knowledge in inspection techniques and requirements.
- Good technical knowledge in engineering design and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
- Good knowledge of Industrial standards such as API, ASME etc for mechanical Equipment.
