DotBio is seeking an enthusiastic and committed **Research Officer / Research Associate **to join the Antibody Production team, where you will be involved in developing novel mono-specific and multi-specific antibodies designed to treat various oncological conditions. The role involves expressing, purifying, and characterising new engineered antibodies using advanced protein purification and protein analytical techniques. You will be responsible for aseptic cell culture, transfection of mammalian cells, and optimising processes and resources, when required. You will be expected to perform data analysis, record data diligently in electronic lab book, present at regular group meetings and work interdependently with the teammates. Successful applicants can anticipate receiving mentorship in a collaborative setting, with a focus on expanding scientific knowledge and achieving personal career objectives.

**Requirements**:

- Producing and purifying of novel antibodies
- Performing quality control of the purified antibodies
- Culturing of mammalian cell lines
- Performing SDS-PAGE, affinity chromatography and size-exclusion chromatography
- Assisting the team in preparing materials needed for various experiments
- Supporting the lead scientist in conducting experiments
- Documenting all experiments in a clear and systematic manner
- Assisting in laboratory management and performing routine duties.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or related fields.
- Diploma holders in Biological Sciences or related fields
- Hands-on experience in biology, molecular biology, or biochemistry
- Experience with protein expression in mammalian cells
- Proficiency MS Word, Excel, Power Point
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
