**Role Scope;**

This role will be managing the trading team in order to deliver a compliant and profitable client focused energy business in Asia Pacific. You will trade and manage profitably delegated energy derivative products on behalf of the company as mandated by the Regional Head of Energy, Asia. Liaise with MBC senior traders to ensure effective coordination and implementation of business strategies related to MBC’s Global Oil Trading business. Continually develop the skills and knowledge to allow progression into a more senior trading role. You may negotiate and execute the following transactions:

- CDS’s; and
- treasury instruments and repurchase agreements as necessary to enable MBCL to meet its initial margin requirements, in accordance with relevant internal policies and approvals.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities;**
- Initiating transactions on behalf of MBC using algorithmic functionality, ensuring an understanding of how such algorithmic functionality operates and that it is employed in an appropriate manner at all times.
- Ensure compliance with any regulatory requirements needed to perform main duties & Responsibilities.
- Assist the senior traders In all aspects of their jobs;
- Trading profitably within the company policies and procedures ensuring compliance with the Risk Policies and related ethical standards such as the Code of Conduct;
- Actively share information on the energy markets and the operation environment across the business
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of all trades entered Into on behalf of the company Into the internal trading system;
- Monitor positions on the internal trading system to ensure compliance with company trading policies;
- Update appropriate prices within the trading system on a continuous basis including at close of each trading day;
- To provide information as required for management upon request
- Provide coaching and guidance to less experienced colleagues
- Raise any concerns with colleagues and management.
- Other duties as assigned

**2. SKILLS**
- Previous trading/banking work experience
- Solid understanding of commodity derivatives
- Advanced Excel and VBA skills
- Excellent numeracy and communication skills
- Completed Risk Taking Assessment
