Singapore MATHESON ENERGY PTE. LTD. Full time

The Vice President will be reporting to the Group Chairman and will be responsible for overseeing and driving the company’s financial objectives, performance and growth in Singapore and the regional market. This role requires a dynamic leader with deep experience in leading and managing finance department in a competitive international market.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the overall strategic financial direction and growth of the company in Singapore and develop long-term financial strategies aligned with company’s goals and market dynamics
- Implement strategies set by the company’s senior leadership in China to ensure alignment with the company's vision, objectives and values
- Regularly report to the senior leadership in China on the company’s financial performance, strategic initiatives and market conditions
- Identify new opportunities, market segments and partnerships to drive company’s financial standings
- Oversee Accounts, Corporate Finance Reporting, Treasury and Trade Finance operations, ensuring efficiency and high performance in the company
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) in the Finance department
- Implement robust financial management, including budgeting, forecasting and cost control measures
- Maintain, strengthen strong relationships and establish clear communication with key stakeholders, partners and government agencies ensuring long-term partnerships and customer loyaltyProactively manage all financial related risks, including but not limited to financial, operational, reputational risks and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations in Singapore

**Competencies and Skill Sets required**:

- Proficiency in Mandarin and English (both written and spoken) is essential for effective communication with headquarters in China and regional stakeholders
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
- Comfortable working in fast-paced and high-pressure environments
- In-depth understanding of China companies’ workflow and cultureStrong financial acumen and experience with P&L management, cash pooling and treasury management

**Education and Experience required**:

- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, Management, Finance, Accounts or other related fields
- Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive leadership experience in a senior management or executive role, preferably in a China-based companyExperience and knowledge on cross-border bank relationships, trade financing, supply chain financing, IPO, investment fund management etc. is a must

**Compensation**

Salary will commensurate with qualifications & experience.
