**The role**:
Aspen Bermuda Limited Singapore Branch (ABL Singapore) is seeking a highly motivated Analyst to join a dynamic team where learning and development opportunities are available. The Analyst will assist with operational accounting and financial reporting activities for ABL Singapore, ensuring accuracy and consistency of underlying data, liaising with external and internal customers, maintaining statutory and regulatory compliance, and ensuring alignment with Aspen’s Finance policies.

**Key accountabilities**:

- Liaise with Regulatory Reporting team and assist with preparation of MAS Regulatory filings.
- Act as the point of contact for regulatory enquires, coordinating with Bermuda finance team as required.
- Assist with payment processing associated with general and administrative expenses and (re)insurance claims
- Assist with the financial close process through preparation of quarterly balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with the preparation of ABL Singapore annual financial statements on a GAAP basis
- Provide support to the Tax Department who liaise with the external tax agent for the completion of annual tax computation and GST returns and ensure it is submitted on time to the authorities
- Support the audit review process through engagement with internal and external audit teams
- Assist in maintaining internal controls within the finance function, compliant with the requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley
- Support the Regional Managing Director through efficient and effective operation of Singapore liaising with the appropriate Group functions, including; compliance, legal, HR and facilities
- Assist with finance projects relating to the improvement of processes or strategic initiatives

**Skills & experience**:

- Internationally recognized professional designation (CA, ACA, CPA, CFA or equivalent)
- 2 years’ post-qualification experience in a finance role
- Re/insurance industry experience, direct or indirect, preferred
- Experience of MAS regulatory reporting
- Technical proficiency with Microsoft Excel is essential
- Proactive, self-motivated with a team orientation
- Strong work ethic and high energy who strives for excellence
