**What you'll do**:
**1.) Leadership & Team Management**:
Lead and coordinate the team to achieve timely and high-quality deliverables.

Monitor workload distribution, SLA adherence, and client communications.

Provide performance feedback and support recruitment, onboarding, and staff development initiatives.

Encourage the team to exercise risk awareness by proactively flagging red flags.

**2.)**Client & Compliance Oversight**

Perform first-level checks on deliverables for accuracy and statutory compliance.

Resolve client queries and complaints, escalating complex issues appropriately.

Ensure team adherence to the Companies Act and internal SOPs and act as the primary advisor on corporate governance matters.

Stay abreast of regulatory changes and evolving best practices in corporate governance, advising on their impact and implementing necessary changes.

**3.)**Operational Excellence**

Lead team operations with a focus on resolving challenges effectively and ensuring consistent, high-quality outcomes.

Drive initiatives that streamline processes, improve efficiency, and set best-in-class standards for accuracy and compliance.

Refine team workflows, checklists, and practices to support sustainable growth and excellence.

Oversee high-profile clients when required, demonstrating leadership through strong client partnerships.

Promote transparent reporting and data driven decision making via dashboards or backlog trackers.

**4.) Coaching & Staff Development**

Mentor team members through on-the-job coaching and informal training, along with structured feedback sessions.

Promote accountability, collaboration, and a positive work environment.

Cultivate a collaborative and supportive environment with a focus on accountability and positive reinforcement.

**5.) Cross-Functional Collaboration**

**Partner with Compliance, Accounting, Tax, and Support teams for smooth handling of client matters.

Align deliverables and timelines through proactive communication across functions.

**6.) Client Engagement**

Manage professional client communications and high-level document preparation.

Confidently manage initial clarifications and sensitive matters, escalating when necessary.

Translate complex regulatory obligations into clear, structured guidance for non-legal stakeholders.

**Who you are**:
4 - 6 years of experience in corporate secretarial operations, including at least 1-2 years in a leadership capacity.

Strong knowledge of the Companies Act, corporate governance, and compliance requirements.

Proven ability to communicate effectively, manage clients confidently, and organize team deliverables.

Proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

Comfortable with technology and proficient in using digital platforms and tools essential to the role.
