**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Client Advisory Services**:

- Provide expert consultation to clients on all aspects of data protection and PDPA compliance.
- Address client inquiries and provide solutions to complex data protection issues.
- Stay updated with changes in data protection laws and regulations to offer timely and accurate advice.

**Data Protection Management**:

- Assist clients in developing and implementing comprehensive Data Protection Management Programs (DPMP).
- Conduct questionnaire-based and onsite audits and assessments to ensure compliance with PDPA and other relevant data protection laws.
- Collaborate with clients to create and maintain a robust framework for data protection.

**Compliance and Reporting**:

- Monitor ongoing compliance with PDPA requirements within client organizations.
- Prepare reports and documentation for both internal and external use, detailing compliance measures and any data breaches.
- Implement corrective actions and enhancements to address compliance gaps and improve data protection practices.

**Collaboration and Training**:

- Work closely with Account Managers to ensure a cohesive approach to client management and service delivery.
- Share knowledge and best practices with Account Managers and other team members to foster a collaborative working environment.
- Conduct training (explainer and review) sessions for clients and internal teams on data protection policies and procedures.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Data Protection Officer or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of PDPA and other relevant legislation, with at least 2 years experience working as either a Data Protection Officer in a past organization, or as a Data Protection Consultant
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex information.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining complex data protection principles in an understandable manner.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and with cross-functional groups.
- Professional certification in data protection or privacy law (e.g., CIPP, CIPM) is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT preferred, with a proven track record of quickly learning and integrating new technologies into work processes**Personal Attributes**
