Data Protection Officer

Key Responsibilities:
- **Compliance Monitoring**:Ensure the company's personal data protection policies and practices comply with PDPA, identifying and managing risks related to data collection, use, disclosure, and storage.
- **Documentation Management**:Maintain records of data processing, privacy checklists, data mapping, legitimate interest assessments, and Data Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIA) to address business risks.
- **Audits and Implementation**:Conduct audits, analyze findings, and implement changes to address identified gaps.
- **Training and Culture**:Conduct training sessions on data protection best practices and promote a compliance culture within the company.
- **Policy Coordination**:Work with HQ legal and compliance teams to implement data protection policies and develop the Data Protection Management Programme (DPMP).
- **Incident Management**:Manage data breaches and security incidents, including preparing and submitting reports to the PDPC within the prescribed period.
- **Data Transfer Oversight**:Oversee data transfer activities and provide guidance on personal data protection laws in the Philippines and other ASEAN countries.
Requirement
- Bachelor Degree in Law, IT or related field or equivalent
- At least 3 years of working experience in Singapore data protection compliance area, privacy management.
- Strong IT skills, allied to a sound knowledge of the companys IT infrastructure would be an added advantaged
