**Summary**:

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Financial Reporting**
- Execute month-end journal entries to finalize inventory and cost accounts.
- Perform inventory reconciliations and generate detailed inventory reports, including turnover metrics.
- Conduct global standard cost roll-ups and update records in Oracle ERP.
- Calculate amortization for capitalized variances and prepare necessary journal entries.
- Develop and maintain inventory reserve estimates and manage accruals for customer samples.
- Oversee zero-cost updates and cost roll-up processes related to Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Review and approve Discrepant Material Requisitions (DMRs).
- May take on additional responsibilities involving revenue recognition and accounts receivable functions in the future.

**Audit and Compliance**
- Respond to auditor inquiries concerning inventory and cost accounting matters.
- Lead physical inventory and distributor audits, which may include travel.
- Ensure all processes comply with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies.

**Process Improvement**
- Drive and support projects related to Oracle cost and inventory modules.
- Identify opportunities to streamline cost accounting procedures and improve data accuracy.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar; CA or CMA certification preferred.
- 4 to 6 years of cost accounting experience in a high-tech manufacturing setting.
- Good understanding of inventory valuation, standard costing, and cost analysis.
- Strong skills in Excel; experience with Oracle, SAP, or other ERP systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing costing (like wafers, dies, packaging) is a bonus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
