**Senior IT Project Manager**

**We will count on you to**:

- Work closely with project sponsor, program manager(s), and the cross-functional teams to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, risks and timing for new initiatives
- Establish and maintain project plans to support communication to senior management.
- Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.
- Coordinate and prioritise project tasks to ensure key milestones are achieved on schedule.
- Manage timelines to meet business requirements and guarantee operational and business readiness.
- Monitors the progress of projects (through project plans and regular status meetings) to ensure that stakeholder, sponsor, and/or client expectations are being met
- Provide weekly/monthly status on issues, risks, milestones and timelines.
- Identify and anticipate risks and issues; facilitate resolution, mitigation and appropriate escalation.
- Maintains the PMO Methodology and Lifecycle Processes.
- Creates and maintains all documents that support the PMO Methodology.
- Ensures methodology compliance, auditing and tracking of ongoing projects; using the agreed tools at regular intervals to ensure projects are on course and follows the approved methodology.
- Creates and maintains toolsets used by the Program Management group.
- Recommends corrective actions on projects, if required.

**What you need to have**:

- 8 to 10 years of working experience in IT roles
- 5+ years project management experience
- Your proven track record in building and leading project teams to deliver technology projects.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable working in a distributed environment, with an ability to form great working relationships across teams, locations, and time zones.
- Professional certification in Project Management (APM, PMBoK, PRINCE or equivalent)
- Professional certification in Agile methodologies / roles (Scrum or equivalent)
- Experience and knowledge of the Insurance and financial services sectors and their technology solutions would be advantageous
