**Overall Purpose of the Job**:
This role is to provide firstly a clinical management and consultation service to patients with conditions applicable to the sub-specialty of Emergency Medicine and to provide education, supervision and support to junior medical staff, and thirdly to engage in ongoing quality assurance activities within the health services provided to the client of International SOS.
Provide first-line emergency and general medical care to client's patients. This includes assessment, investigation, treatment and referral for ongoing non-inpatient care or, on consultation with consultant specialists, admission/transfer for inpatient care.
**Required Qualifications**
- License to practice as a Medical Doctor from the country of Origin
- At least 5 years post-board clinical experience in a hospital
- Postgraduate residency program in emergency medicine
- Associate Fellow, Trainee, or Fellow of the country's College of Emergency Medicine preferred
- Valid ACLS/ALS and ITLS/PHTLS or equivalent certificate in trauma life support
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
