Telenor Procurement Company (TPC), established in 2017 and headquartered in Singapore, operates as a subsidiary of the Telenor Group. We deliver Global Category Management as a service to the Telenor Business Units, taking full responsibility for the end-to-end Sourcing process and performance of global spend categories. Functioning as one Global Procurement team across all Telenor markets, we enable Telenor’s strategic ambitions by becoming a centre of expertise in the pursuit of efficient operations. TPC seeks qualified procurement professionals that are comfortable working in a global setup in the fast-paced Telecom field.

**About the Role**

The ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) Risk Specialist reports to Director Head of Compliance and ESG, Legal Division and will be part of TPC CESG Team.

As a member of the team, you will lead and be responsible for driving our ESG goals/agenda including the reporting, monitoring, and planning of ESG mitigation actions of our suppliers with special focus on the Health Safety and Security areas within procurement as well as follow up of Climate goals and science-based targets within the supply chain.

**In this role you will**

Manage and assess the information on suppliers provided by the Global Procurement team, Telenor Business Units project teams, and the suppliers.
- Including assessing and reporting ESG targets by Suppliers to TPC Management, Procurement Teams, Group Sustainability & Compliance by tracking progress and following up with Suppliers on such targets
- Monitoring current legal, market and industry developments in the ESG space and preparing tailored communications for both internal and external stakeholders regarding these developments
- Conduct internal training on ESG risks, supplier code of conduct and group policies for internal stakeholders as required
- Contribute to the development and execution of Compliance and Sustainability in Telenor's procurement domain by liaising with Group functions
- Ensure cooperation with Group Compliance, Supply Chain Sustainability on their policies and implementation (Governance Work Program, Monitoring Policies).
- Gather additional information on suppliers using databases and other resources including external due diligence reports when needed

**Profile**

Specialized knowledge and expertise
- Sound knowledge of with and/or strong interest in supply chain sustainability risks, including health and safety, environmental and climate risks, labour rights, human rights, and corruption risks
- Experience with supplier codes of conduct and compliance in a multinational company is an advantage
- Experience with supplier risk assessment in a multinational company, including legal, compliance, environmental and /or social and governance risks would be an advantage
- Ability to exercise sound judgement and a high level of integrity and ethics
- Experience in Supplier risk management reporting and data collection including
- familiarity with basic supplier risks such as financial viability and business continuity
- familiarity with compliance-related risks of suppliers and third parties, including corruption and privacy
- Experience with procurement in a multinational company is preferred
- Experience in cross functional stakeholder management is an advantage
- Strong ability to communicate and interact effectively across organizational and cultural boundaries, internally and externally as well as follow up on tasks

Basic skills
- Ability to track feedback from internal as well as external stakeholders and plan and follow up on operational tasks
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to work independently and ensure that deadlines are met
- Experienced in team management and good interpersonal skills
- Excels at MS Word, Excel and Power point skills
- Excellent computer skills in order to navigate digital platforms used within procurement

**Qualification and Experience Requirements**
- More than 2 years in a procurement, project management, ESG, legal, risk or compliance role
- A university degree, preferably within business administration, supply chain, or equivalent
