This new role reports into the Global Innovation Director. It builds and develops Essentra’s ESG strategy and framework to strengthen its overall position as a leading sustainable filter and tape solution leader. The new role is responsible for all the reporting requirements to comply with relevant ESG requirements and regulations.

**Typical Accountabilities**
- Develop a ESG vision and implementation strategy with DLT for Essentra business, products and operations
- Develop policies for identifying, managing, and monitoring environmental and social risks, and ensuring they stay relevant and effective in building Essentra-wide resilience to ESG risks, as well as aligned with regulations and market practices.
- Work with Essentra company-wide stakeholders to define and drive the implementation of frameworks, policies, tools, reporting and facilitate various programmes and initiatives to manage ESG risk for Essentra Filters
- Develop dashboards to monitor ESG targets, creates the annual ESG report and delivers reports to comply with markets’ requirements and regulations
- Coordinate with stakeholders in developing responses and managing Essentra’s sustainability indices

**Requirements**:

- Degree in the sustainability field, with evidence of continued professional development
- Minimum 10 years working experience in ESG risk management
- In-depth knowledge of key sustainability issues, ESG international standards/principles and best practices
- Experience in driving ESG initiatives across countries in MNC
- Effective communication, good in educating and building awareness
- Possess professional and interpersonal skills to establish good rapport and working relationship with stakeholders
- Able to work independently, be proactive, able to prioritize and operate under tight deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skill
- Experience in leading project team virtually
- Preferably familiar with Tobacco related industry
