**Demand Planner - Your future position?**

Location: Pioneer, Singapore

Reporting to: Customer Care Manager

As a Demand Planner, you play an essential role in the supply chain, use the analytical, historical sales data to estimate future product demand, the responsibilities including order service level and planning inventory flow, analyzing statistical data and generating forecasting solutions.

**Responsibilities**

**1 - Subject matter expertise**
- Create the agreement forecast by enhancing the statistical forecast with market knowledge, customer forecasts and commercial forecasts
- Coordinate product life cycle management focusing on efficient introduction and removal of products
- Collect customer forecast based on Commercial inputs, review historical data and trends, research demand drivers for finished products to develop forecast through choosing forecast / business rules.
- Responsible for demand forecast uploading in SAP and check accuracy after loading, resolve the issues with IT expert.
- When customer orders exceed forecast, work with commercial and customer care to validate upcoming demand and update forecast in SAP, run BFF check to alert supply planner to replenish raw material.
- Guide demand planning process based on monthly cycle on product, product ship-to and total customer level
- Co-ordinate the product life cycle management of the compounds of each of our customers, capturing commercial inputs on new / lost business and manage version change.
- New business (1st order requirement) check when receive request from commercial with RMR/NBO workflow, validate the raw material status and ready date and feedback to commercial.
- Perform Demand management through system toolkit (eg SOP, etc)
- Provide technical support to the S&OP cycle through the S&OP Dashboard and BI reports
- Perform customer visits to understand customers’ challenges, requirements and capabilities where applicable

**2 - Project management**
- Identify opportunities for improvement in Demand Planning and lead projects when relevant

**3 - Strategy Design and Execution**
- Help implement Demand Planning strategy aligned with Sales and Operations Roadmap
- Part of global demand planning team that creates for overall improvement of the Givaudan demand planning process.
- Lead and facilitate demand review meetings with Commercial, Customer Care, Planning (schedule meeting, prepare presentation, capture and follow up action items)
- Independently achieve forecast accuracy improvement, especially in those areas where service levels can be improved or inventories reduced (Examples: Seasonal forecasting, uploading client forecasts)

**Professional Experience**
- Bachelor's degree/Diploma holder
- 3 years+ working experience in demand planning
- CI project experience is preferred

**Technical Skill**
- Strong affinity to systems and analytical tools (SAP, IBP, BI/BO, etc.)
- ERP/MRP
- APICS or similar is a plus
- Knowledge and experience in Forecasting (Statistical Models)
