To this end, we have a direct-to-consumer (DTC) platform that allows customers to buy their preferred life and general insurance products directly from our website; as well as a network of preferred Financial Advisory (FA) firms for customers who want to speak with an advisor before committing to an insurance plan. KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES- Support the Product Development function to deliver the Life product strategy and roadmap as approved in the Business Plan- Actively participate in product innovation discussions through regular workshops with partners, internal stakeholders and re-insurers- Ensure that the product design and requirements comply with the MAS, Life Insurance Association, and the FWD requirements- Ensure product risks are promptly highlighted and addressed- Collaborate with the wider product implementation workgroup to ensure products are successfully launched as per agreed roadmap- Produce product collateral such as product specifications, contracts, product summaries etc and get it sign off by all departments- Prepare product approval document for local as well as Group office in a timely manner.- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that the key product USPs are well articulated in the brochure or any other marketing efforts- Produce good quality market research and comparison to ensure that our products remain competitive- Support in product related campaign / marketing initiatives in collaboration with the distribution teams
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE- Degree-holder with at least 8 years of experiences in life insurance companies- At least 5 years’ experience in Life product development and management
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITY- Strong business acumen and communication skill, with proven ability to influence and work with business functions- Strong product development background and good knowledge of the Par, HNW and UL product landscape in Singapore (at least 2 out of the 3 product categories would be required)- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels including senior stakeholders- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
