**BEDOK METHODIST CHURCH **invites a dynamic and motivated individual to be part of this ministry to minister to church members, worshippers, and those in need.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

Your primary duties include exemplifying love and compassion through ministry to the sick and suffering, visiting the home-bound and hospital-bound, visiting wakes and funerals, and conducting wake services when required. In addition, you are also required to inform the leadership of births and deaths, and arrange for delivery of get-well hampers, baby hampers, funeral wreaths, and condolence flowers. This position requires working on Sundays and weekday evenings where necessary.

**OTHER DUTIES**

1. Coordinating Pastors’ monthly homebound visits.

2. Regular Pastoral Care reports for visitations and bereavements.

3. Recruiting and training worshippers in the ministry of caring.

4. Overseeing the Ushering Ministry and their duties during Worship Services.

5. Organising and executing the biannual Baptism and Membership Course.

6. Any other duties as assigned by the Pastor-in-Charge.

**REQUIREMENTS**

1. A relevant theological diploma or degree or qualifications in related field.

2. Compassion for the sick and suffering, and experience in working with the sick and elderly.

3. Honest, reliable, hardworking, and conscientious.

4. A team player with the ability to work independently.

5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

6. Able to multi-task and perform under tight deadlines.
