SOC Design Lead

Are you a seasoned SoC Design Engineer with a passion for innovation and cutting-edge semiconductor technologies? Do you have a proven track record of leading successful SoC projects from concept to production? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced SoC Design Lead to join our talented team and drive the development of next-generation semiconductor solutions.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end SoC design process, including architecture definition, microarchitecture, RTL design, and verification.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including system architects, physical design engineers, and software engineers, to define and execute SoC integration plans.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of SoC designers, ensuring high-quality designs and timely project delivery.
- Drive innovation in SoC design methodologies, explore new technologies, and develop design strategies to improve efficiency and performance.
- Perform in-depth analysis and optimization of system-level performance, power consumption, and area utilization.
- Collaborate with external vendors, IP providers, and foundries to identify and integrate key IPs into the SoC design.
- Conduct design reviews, identify design risks, and propose mitigation strategies to ensure successful tape-out and product release.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's/Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience (at least 8 years) in SoC design, with a strong focus on complex digital designs and integration.
- Proven track record of leading and delivering successful SoC projects, including tape-out and production release.
- Expertise in industry-standard EDA tools and methodologies for design, synthesis, and verification (e.g., SystemVerilog, UVM, Verilog, VHDL).
- Proficiency in RTL design, low-power design techniques, and SoC integration flows.
- Strong understanding of microarchitecture concepts and trade-offs, as well as system-level performance analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex design issues.
- Prior experience in leading and mentoring a team of SoC designers.
- Knowledge of industry-standard protocols (e.g., PCIe, USB, DDR) and experience with IP integration.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, Tcl) for design automation and data analysis is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
