You will be responsible for maintaining and optimising a large-scale network of smart edge devices. The work will involve ensuring system reliability, managing data flows, coordinating deployments, and supporting key operational processes across both central and field environments. You will be expected to have leadership talent and be comfortable articulating complex process to business stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Act as a technical consultant, translating functional requirements into optimised technical designs and configurations.
- Monitor and support overnight batch processes including device data collection cycles, exception handling, and downstream system integration.
- Manage change and release cycles for NMS updates, enhancements, patching, and certificate renewals.
- Provide technical input during requirement gathering, design, testing, and rollout phases.
- Maintain and configure development, test, and project-specific NMS environments.
- Deliver system performance analyses, validations, capacity planning, and KPI reporting.
- Configure alarm thresholds, escalation processes, and automated network response actions.
- Troubleshoot RF or IP-based network connectivity issues and continuously refine network topology.
- Collaborate with field teams to coordinate sensor/device installation, replacement, and expansion.
- Respond to system alarms, alerts, and failures within defined service level agreements.
- Generate performance dashboards and compliance reports for internal and external stakeholders.

**Technical Requirements**:

- NMS/IoT Platforms: 2+ years experience with large-scale device networks using IoT, SCADA, or equivalent tech
- oring Tools: Proficiency with SNMP-based tools, log analysis platforms, and network performance suites (e.g. Nagios, Wireshark, SolarWinds).Opera
- ting Systems: Strong skills in Windows Server and Linux environments.Datab
- ase Proficiency: Comfortable working with Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MS SQL, including scripting and query optimisation.Scrip
- ting & Automation: Experience in PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation and environment management.Commu
- nications: Familiarity with RF, cellular (4G/5G), LoRa, NB-IoT, or TCP/IP protocols.

**Domain Experience**:

- Working knowledge of smart infrastructure data protocols (e.g. MQTT, Modbus, DLMS/COSEM, IEC 61850).
- Experience in OT/IT integration such as IoT, SCADA, data historians, or telemetry systems.
- Understanding of infrastructure monitoring environments.
- Familiarity with integration into enterprise systems such as IoT platforms, Customer Information Systems, Asset Managment Systems, or ERP platforms is advantageous.

**Professional Background**:

- Experience in a systems administration, field operations, or NOC environment managing mission-critical infrastructure.
- Proven experience with large-scale deployment or migration projects in smart infrastructure or industrial IoT domains.
- Demonstrated success in vendor coordination, incident management, and cross-functional technical support.
- Willingness and skills to grew into a technology leader for the organisation.

**Additional Notes**:

- This is a project-based role, initially scoped for deployment in Singapore with the possibility of extension.
