Singapore Infineon Technologies Full time

The student, as part of the System Integration team and under the guidance of an assigned mentor, will participate in the creation of smart AI-enabled IoT solutions by harnessing product offerings from Infineon such as sensors, radar and microcontrollers, including but not limited to specification and development of AI-enabled connected systems based on Infineon's technology.

In your new role you will:

- **Design, setup and carry out sensor data collection and preparation**:

- **Design and develop IoT proof-of-concept projects in Smart Home/Smart Building/Smart Lighting **/etc
- **Verify early engineering sample of new sensor, radars, dev-kits**:

- **Evaluate, integrate and benchmark various radar sensing solutions (DSP, AI/ML)**:
Internship learning outcomes:

- First-hand **experiences in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by solving real life challenges**:

- **Coaching in IoT technical concepts and software/firmware design**:

- **Exposure to MNC global R&D environment and IoT industrial landscape**

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

- On track to attain a **Bachelor Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline**:

- **Good understanding with C programming and embedded system development tools**:

- **Familiar with MCU architecture (e.g ARM Cortex-M)**:

- **Familiar with peripheral interfaces and common bus protocols**:

- **F **amiliar with IoT connectivity protocols**:

- **Knowledge of cloud computing platform (e.g AWS)**:

- **Knowledge of real-time operating system (RTOS) & scripting language **will be at an advantage
- **Knowledge of Linux based software development and toolchain **will be at an advantage
- **Knowledge of digital signal processing theory and techniques **will be at an advantage
- **Knowledge of neural network and machine learning framework **will be at an advantage
