**The position**

Proof is looking for a dynamic Finance leader that will assist the Head of Operations develop/manage the Finance and Operation departments. This individual will have the chance to scale alongside a fast paced startup working towards a Series A. This position is for that someone who seeks ambiguous challenges that will test your consciousness every chance it gets.

Minimum 3 years experience in Finance

Someone located in the Miami, FL

Someone who understands the laws/compliance/Finance structures of US based companies

Has experience building out finance Ops and understands foundational policies and procedures

FP&A experience with Startups

Someone who is scrappy and has a high aptitude for a startup environment

High level battery pack & can handle a fast paced environment

Communicative

Knows how to work in team settings

Can deal with ambiguity

Is willing to roll their sleeves up (Big or small tasks)

**Will create, analyze, and adapt Finance processes in preparation of Series A scale in addition to building out the foundation to our support**

Analyze the trends of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), especially relating to financial metrics such as sales, expenditures, and profit margin.

Monitor KPIs and identify the cause of any unexpected variances

Develop and continually improve budgeting, financial projections, and operating forecasts

Ad-hoc business performance reporting

Present the monthly and quarterly financial reports of various units and departments

Implement a business intelligence tool and dashboard reports

Develop financial models and analyze them to support strategic initiatives

Support management team and the Heads of Department with data-driven analysis

Maintain the company bank balance and remain cognizant of outstanding checks

Approve invoices that need to be paid

Read and review any documentation attached to checks for approval and accuracy sake

Invoice reconciliation process (Follow up with Unpaid invoices)

Make sure all financial statements and tables are correct and precise

Make sure that the owner of the company receives the company bank statement unopened

Reconcile all bank statements and monthly financial reports

Prepare projections annually and update monthly with actual figures

Must coordinate with the auditors and be prepared to surrender documentation if called upon

Coordinate and prepare any schedules required for tax returns

Maintain the renewals on company finance agreements
