Position: Assistant Construction Site Manager Location: Singapore

**Job Overview**:
The Assistant Construction Site Manager plays a crucial role in assisting the Director in overseeing and coordinating various aspects of construction projects. This includes managing personnel, ensuring project timelines are met, maintaining safety standards, and communicating effectively with stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Project Coordination**:Assist the Director in coordinating all project activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and task delegation.
- **Supervision**:Supervise and guide construction workers, subcontractors, and other site personnel to ensure efficient and safe work practices.
- **Safety Compliance**:Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment. Conduct regular safety inspections and address any issues promptly.
- **Quality Assurance**:Monitor construction processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications. Identify and rectify any quality issues that arise.
- **Progress Tracking**:Keep track of project milestones, budgets, and timelines. Report progress to the higher management as required.
- **Documentation**:Maintain accurate records of daily activities, site conditions, equipment usage, and other relevant documentation.
- **Communication**:Facilitate clear communication between different teams, stakeholders, and management. Address concerns and provide updates on project status.
- **Problem Solving**:Identify and address any challenges or obstacles that may arise during construction, finding practical solutions to keep the project on track.
- **Material Management**:Assist in coordinating the delivery, storage, and usage of construction materials effectively.
- **Reports**:Prepare regular progress reports, incident reports, and other documentation as required by the management.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**:Previous experience in construction or a similar role is necessary. Knowledge of construction processes, practices, and safety protocols is essential.
- **Technical Skills**:Proficiency in using construction software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office suite.
- **Communication**:Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial for effective interaction with various stakeholders.
- **Leadership**:Ability to lead and manage a diverse team of workers and subcontractors. Prior leadership experience is beneficial.
- **Problem-Solving**:Quick thinking and the ability to find solutions to unexpected challenges that may arise on the construction site.
- **Attention to Detail**:Being meticulous in ensuring quality and accuracy in construction processes and documentation.
- **Time Management**:Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities.
- **Adaptability**:Construction sites are dynamic environments; flexibility and adaptability are essential to handle changing circumstances.
- **Safety Consciousness**:Strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment for all site personnel.

**Certifications (Preferred but not Mandatory)**:

- Workforce Safety and Health Supervisor Course (WSHSC)
- Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course (BCSS)
- Basic First Aid Certification
