As a Junior Legal Counsel, you will support our global fintech and payments legal team, helping to navigate the complex regulatory landscape of financial services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, providing legal guidance on regulatory compliance, licensing, and product development while contributing to the development of scalable legal and compliance processes.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in legal research and provide guidance on financial regulations, payments, and fintech-related compliance matters.
- Support drafting and reviewing agreements, including payment processing agreements, vendor contracts, and regulatory submissions.
- Partner with internal teams such as compliance, finance, and product to ensure legal and regulatory considerations are embedded in business operations.
- Contribute to developing and implementing processes to streamline legal operations, contract negotiation, and compliance frameworks.
- Help create and maintain legal playbooks, policies, and training materials for internal teams.

**Desired Skills & Competencies**
- 2-3 years of legal experience, ideally with exposure to fintech, payments, financial services, or regulatory compliance (in-house experience is a plus but not essential).
- Strong research and analytical skills with an interest in payments and regulatory law.
- Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
