Senior Director of Corporate Services, Strategy and Organisational Development

The Senior Director of Corporate Services, Strategy and Organisational Development plays a pivotal role in supporting the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to achieve the agency's vision, mission, and strategic objectives that are aligned with the agency's values.
**[What you will be working on]**
**Key Strategic Responsibilities**:
**Strategic Leadership**:
- As Senior Director for Strategy, assist CEO to chart out the short, medium and long-term strategy for sustainable growth of the agency’s services, in order for the agency to increasingly achieve its mission and vision, and engage key stakeholders to buy into the short-, medium
- and long-term strategies. Also, to lead in the systematic execution of the strategic plan together with CEO.
- As Senior Director for Organisational Development, oversee the agency's Organisational Development efforts, bearing in mind the agency’s strategic strengths and weaknesses, as well as opportunities and threats, and assisting CEO in growing the agency's capabilities to deliver its mission and vision.
- As Senior Director for Corporate Services, lead the agency's work in providing quality Corporate Services Support in Human Resource, Finance, Infrastructure, Admin, Data Protection and IT support, to all of the agency. This will require the Senior Director of Corporate Services to work with Heads of Services (HOSs) and Heads of Corporate Departments (HODs) to deliver quality corporate services, supporting sustainability, growth, and operational excellence across the agency’s services and programmes.Assist CEO with other key strategic responsibilities as required, e.g. expand the pool of strategic partners and donors for the agency.
**Other Responsibilities**:
**Resource Planning and Budgeting**:
- Lead the finance team in strategic budgeting for the agency, with an eye on the short
- and medium-term projected incomes and expenditures. With an understanding of the short and medium term projections, work with the CEO to grow the agency’s various streams of income to support the work of the agency.
- Work with Head of Finance to carry out the annual budgeting exercise, with a view to ensuring prudence of budgeting from various services and departments.Together with Head of Finance, review and improve internal controls and governance levers, to enhance public/donor accountability, prudent use of funds, and operational efficiency.
**Information Technology, Cybersecurity**:
- Work with Group IT to drive digital transformation efforts within the agency, to enhance administrative efficiency while maintaining/improving delivery of service quality.Oversee the agency’s efforts to enhance cybersecurity to reduce vulnerabilities. As part of this, also oversee the agency’s data protection efforts and serve as the agency’s Chief Data Protection Officer.
**Facilities Management, Planning, and Space**:
- Oversee the agency's short
- and long-term space planning to cater to the agency's current and future services and programmes. This includes engaging with external stakeholders to secure the use of space outside of the agency's 2 campuses for our programmes and services if necessary.Provide guidance to the agency's Facilities Management team by reviewing key processes and systems to ensure consistent delivery of efficient operational support in the agency's campuses.
**Enterprise Risk Management and Business Continuity Management**:
- Plan and lead Enterprise Risk Management and Business Continuity Management processes and workstreams
- Lead and coordinate the annual Risk Assessment Exercise to identify new and emergent enterprise risks and undertake risk assessment and scorings.
- Engage stakeholders to track and review their existing Risk Treatment Plans and assess their alignment to the agency's priorities and progress in implementationCollaborate with Internal Audit to monitor the progress and ensure the effectiveness of the Risk Treatment Plans.
**General Administration**:
- Direct and develop a team of admin professionals to ensure that the agency's administrative strategy is implemented effectively and that the Centre complies with all relevant regulations, laws and standards.
**[What we are looking for]**
**Job Specifications**
- Demonstrated depth and breadth of expertise and experience in areas such as general management, IT, FM, Finance, Procurement, Admin, HR, Risk Management and Business Continuity, and Audit.
- Minimum 10 years of related experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Is strategic, analytical, and has good planning and people management skills.
- Dynamic individual with excellent communication abilities and able to work with staff from all levels.
- Most importantly, he/she is a Serving Leader.
