**[What the role is]**

DEPUTY / ASSISTANT MANAGER, AUTONOMOUS VEHICLE PROGRAMME OFFICE (COMMUNICATIONS & ENGAGEMENT)

**[What you will be working on]**

At the Autonomous Vehicle Programme Office (AVPO), we lead the national initiative to deploy autonomous vehicles (AVs) in Singapore. We are looking for passionate individuals eager to contribute to the development of an AV-centric future in land transport.

You will be working on:
1. Industry Engagement: -Develop and sustain relationships with key stakeholders in the AV industry, including technology providers, manufacturers, and service operators to understand their AV trial plans and business models. -Organize and facilitate industry forums, workshops, and roundtable discussions to promote collaboration and innovation in AV technology.

2. Public Acceptability: -Lead initiatives to and enhance public acceptance of AVs through outreach programs, surveys, and community engagement activities. -Develop communication strategies to inform the public about the benefits, safety measures, and operational aspects of AVs.

3.International Relations: -Represent the government in international forums and collaborations concerning AV technology and policy. -Engage with foreign governments, regulatory bodies, and international organizations to share best practices and align on AV standards.

4. AV Technology Scan: -Conduct regular assessments of emerging AV technologies and trends to inform policy, business development and regulatory frameworks. -Analyze global advancements in AV technology and evaluate their relevance to local contexts and needs.

**[What we are looking for]**
- Knowledge in Business Administration, Public Policy or related disciplines
- At least 2 years of working experience is preferred, but those without experience are welcomed to apply
- A keen interest in current affairs, particularly global advancements in autonomous vehicle technologies, deployment strategies, and business use cases.
- A proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple workstreams effectively and efficiently.
- A demonstrated ability to engage and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
