[What the role is]

DEPUTY / ASSISTANT MANAGER (FINANCIAL), NATIONAL EV CENTRE MASTERPLANNING

[What you will be working on]

You will be part of LTA’s National Electric Vehicle Centre (NEVC). The NEVC spearheads the promotion of EV adoption, regulating and planning EV charging systems, and the development of an EV ecosystem in Singapore.

Specifically, you will be responsible for:
In this role, you will be part of the dynamic Masterplanning team, which develops and executes plans related to the deployment of EV charging systems and its supporting infrastructure. You will be given the unique opportunity to shape the electrified future of our land transport system in Singapore.
- Developing and refining the national EV charging point deployment and infrastructure upgrading masterplan covering different developments, vehicle types and charging speed.
- Mapping key parameters related to EV adoption, charging point deployment and their interdependencies, developing and refining models related to cashflow and financial projections of key stakeholders to derive insights on the impact to the financial viability of the EV charging ecosystem.
- Designing and reviewing policies and monitoring tools to ensure the overall financial viability and stability of the EV charging ecosystem.
- Develop, implement and enforce regulations to support policies related to national EV charging point and infrastructure upgrading, and ensuring financial viability of the EV charging ecosystem.
- Partnering relevant agencies and entities to ensure the timely deployment of charging points across all public and residential carparks to meet announced timelines.
- Manage, review and refine existing grant schemes administered in supporting charging point deployment.
- Working with a range of government agencies, external stakeholders and vendors on related workstream.

[What we are looking for]
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering/Geography/Urban Planning or a related discipline with at least 2 years of relevant work experience
- Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate with team members and external stakeholders
- Meticulous, able to work on multiple projects and manage time effectivel under tight deadlines.
- Some experience in excel modelling and financial projections preferred
