**The Go East division **( **东游记 **, which literally means _a Journey to the East in Chinese _) is established under Business China to drive this purpose. We develop and execute programmes to nurture a group of Singapore-China Savvy talents, by building a UNIQUE platform for our youths to enhance their bilingual skills, understand the latest development and trends in China, and develop deeper links between Singapore and China, and beyond. This role will allow you to directly participate in fostering a stronger bilingual, bicultural, and international mindset and skills amongst our youth.

We work closely with partners including Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs), organisations, and passionate individuals who share the same objectives of creating opportunities for our youth.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Assist in developing and implementing initiatives in cultivating bilingual and bicultural, China-savvy and China-ready youth in Singapore.
- Support in executing and enhancing the current programs and activities such as immersion trips, internships, exchange programs, local learning journeys for targeted youths.
- Ensure all operations adhere to organizational and functional policies. Ensure SOPs and the relevant records and reports are up-to-date, accurate and properly maintained.
- Conduct ongoing macro-scan and analysis of the China-market-related landscape and produce relevant report.
- Provide support and guidance to youth members and assist with related tasks.
- Perform administrative work when engaging various vendors (PRFs, ITQ, quotations, invoices etc).
- Any other tasks, duties, or responsibilities required by the team.

**Qualifications and requirements**
- Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin - written and verbal communication skills.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Chinese Studies, Social Science, International Relations, and other relevant disciplines.
- Good knowledge and interest in China and International relations.
- Self-starter. Passionate about youth development-related work.
- Familiar with Photoshop, Canvas, or other EDM software(s), would be advantageous but not a must.
- At least 1-2 years of relevant working experience. However, fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
