Job Responsibilities:

- Overall in charge for all site coordination and execution relating to mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) matters of the project. Overall responsible for all the MEP works installation and progress of work to meet contractual and specifications requirements.
- Leading in design coordination with consultants / client and authorities.
- Assist PM in project management. Assists PM in preparing monthly reports.
- Attend client, consultants and sub-con meetings.
- Review of shop drawings / materials / MOS.
- Ensure that all the submittals are carried out timely and closely monitoring the progress and status.
- To study drawings / specifications and check for discrepancies.
- Resolve technical issues on drawings and liaise closely with all trades and authorities.
- Take lead in VDC for MEP related matters. Cross check BIM model with contract drawings and other disciplines, such as architectural, structural, etc.
- Review of contract documents and scope of works.
- Closely monitoring of overall MEP site progress.
- Liaise with authorities, consultants and client to ensure smooth delivery of the project.
- To ensure works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications and PE design.
- Establish and implement quality control measures for MEP works after consulting with PM and Quality and Service Dept.
- Overall in charge for all MEP inspection activities on site.
- Overall in charge for trade demos and material testing.
- Planning and monitoring of material and equipment delivery.
- To ensure material / equipment testing are carried out in timely manner and as per the specifications.
- To identify and resolve any potential site issues at the work site.
- To identify and record variations. To inform PM / CTD on any variations with cost and time implications immediately.
- Ensure back charges are issued promptly.
- Take lead in sub-con meetings and technical meetings for MEP related matters; prepare and circulate meeting minutes in a timely manner.
- Liaise with relevant authorities for turn on (Electrical, Water, etc.).
- To work with PM and Site Manager in planning and executing temporary works, in particular, the temporary services.
- To ensure work activities are carried out in safe working environment.
- To ensure as-built drawings and submission of O&M are done in a timely manner.
- Handing over to owners/ town council/ authorities / MA/ etc.
- Assessment of sub-cons claims / progress claims.
- To ensure all MEP submissions (as-built, COS etc) are done for RI (M&E) and TOP. To ensure that the project is ready for the RI and TOP inspections.
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor / management.

Job Requirements:

- Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering /Mechanical Engineering /Building Service. Specialist Diploma in M&E Coordination will be an advantage.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Preferably in high rise building projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and BIM.
- Able to manage group of engineers and supervisors.
- Independent, diligent, highly motivated with excellent team spirit and cope in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess good interpersonal, analytical and communication skills.
