About the role Artix Engineering Pte Ltd, a leading construction firm, is seeking a highly skilled MEP Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of our mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) projects, ensuring the successful delivery of our construction initiatives. What you'll be doing Reports to MEP Manager Supervise workers and sub-contractors to ensure achievement of quality standards and completion on time within project budget Check electrical deliverables of project requirement and review sub-contractor's submittals Project costing management and preparation of monthly claim for the Client and subcontractors in terms of Electrical workers Participate in technical discussion, progressing (Commercial) & technical meetings with the Client, PM, MEP consultants and Sub-contractor Ensure project workers is in with compliance with local regulations Progress report for electrical works Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for MEP components of construction projects Analyse and review contractor quotations, variations, and claims to ensure accuracy and compliance Manage the procurement process for MEP materials and equipment, negotiating competitive pricing and terms Contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and best practices for MEP quantity surveying Other duties as assigned by the superior. What we're looking for Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a focus on MEP projects Proven track record in preparing accurate cost estimates, managing procurement, and providing financial oversight Strong understanding of construction contracts, project management principles, and MEP systems Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams What we offer At Artix Engineering, we are dedicated to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment.
