We have a vacancy in our Investment department for an **Investment Analyst **.

The incumbent will join our expanding team based in Singapore and will be assisting management in evaluating potential investments and monitoring investments in South East Asia and Greater China.

**Job Description**:
The Investment Analyst/Associate role focuses on strategic investments and partnerships in the Chinese PE/VC space, with a preference for those that are present in or ready to expand to the Indonesia and greater SEA markets. Seniority of position varies according to individual experience. Responsibilities include:

- Conduct evaluation of investment opportunities in start-ups and create pitch decks for the investment committee. Evaluation work includes - Market Sizing, Unit Economics Analysis, Financial modelling, Valuation & Benchmarking, Industry Studies
- Monitor market trends and assists in development of a dedicated research team on new emerging sectors
- Communicate and engage with key stakeholders, in both China and Indonesia/SEA, to develop strong working relationships

**Requirements**:

- Academically excellent* Graduate from top universities, and/or with at least 2 years of working experience. MBA/Masters-equivalent is an added advantage
- Good understanding of the private equity scene and cultural norms of China. Basic understanding of ASEAN is a plus
- Highly motivated, self-driven, diligent and organised
- Extremely meticulous and low tolerance for sub-standard work
- Independent, proactive and is able to work well with a decentralized team
- Strong communicator and long-term relationship building skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese, an ability to converse in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus
- Able to attend frequent business trips to/from China/Singapore/Indonesia
- Former entrepreneurial/startup experience is a bonus
- *Academic excellence can be substituted with non-academic track record on a case-by-case basis.
