The incumbent will be responsible to ensure all quality requirements are met by participating in the review of all design manufacturing, test procedures and inspection analysis and provide input to the manager on process or procedural system improvements.
- Maintain ISO 9001: 2015 QMS and supporting various audits by customers and Regulatory Institutions like NSF, WQA etc.
- External Providers Monitoring: Review of monthly and periodic performance in terms of Quality, Delivery, Response to issues etc.
- Establish, review and maintain Quality documents such as Control Plans, FMEA, Process Flow, Risk and Opportunities Assessment Forms.
- Perform Statistical and Measurement System Analysis for relevant quality data, when necessary.
- Verification and review of line and machine Qualifications and PPAP and FAI reports for new products and materials.
- Maintain Calibration System and records for test equipment, tools and gauges.
- Responsible for planning, organizing and managing the overall activities of Incoming, In-process and Outgoing Quality Inspections.
- Responsible for root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for quality issues using tools like Global 8D, Ishikawa etc.
- Conduct regular process audits to ensure compliance with the standard process and product specifications.
- Manage QA laboratory activities including setup and qualification of new test equipment and development of new product testing plan.
