Our client is a well-established brand in the Telecommunications Industry and is now looking for a passionate and driven
**Senior/Manager, Marketing (Commercial Performance and Cost Optimisation) **to join their team.

In this high-profile position, you will be principally responsible for driving performance across one of the company's most significant commercial divisions. Reporting directly to the Director of Commercial Operations, you will be a key business partner supporting sales, marketing, and senior management to ensure sound and robust commercial decision-making. You will lead a capable team who partners closely with the business to optimize commercial and financial performance through actionable insights.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Performance insights and optimization: Analyse key business drivers to deliver actionable commercial insights to drive business performance and Go-To-Market activities.
- Performance Evaluation: Oversee planning and production of monthly and periodic business performance review reports across product verticals including variance analysis and attribution.
- Finance Business Partnering: Align with the Finance function on annual and monthly operating plans including revenue and open for Sales and Marketing functions.
- Cost optimization: Drive cost optimization initiatives across sales and marketing.
- Review and monitor the financial controls in the commercial functions to ensure business risk is monitored and minimized.
- Budgeting and forecasting: Development of business plans with business stakeholders.
- Transformation: Play a driving role in positioning the commercial team as a strategic business partner. Drive value-adding insight and analytics through technology.
- Lead and develop a high-performing commercial finance team.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies.

**Key Qualifications**:

- CA/CPA/ACCA status with solid experience in financial and management reporting, expense management and analysis, and financial control (will be an added advantage).
- Demonstrated experience partnering with senior stakeholders within sales and marketing functions and driving results in a complex organization.
- Experience in supporting transformational projects is an added advantage.
- Strong in storyboarding, preparation, and presentation in power-point.
- Strong BI reporting and system skills (Excel, SQL, SAS, Tableau for example) are an advantage.
- The ability to put a concise commercial lens onto complex issues.
- Passion for continuous improvement, innovation, and championing change.
