Senior Architectural Coordinator

**EXECUTIVE SUMMARY**:
The Senior Architecture Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of all architectural activities for the Company’s projects.
**RESPONSIBILITIES:
PLANNING
- Define architectural standards for the design and deployment of projects.
- Collaborate with Structural and M&E teams to provide technical direction on design, development and deployment
- Prepare architectural works schedule based on the 3 months rolling programme
- Regularly provide information to the Technical Director and/or Senior Architecture Manager on the progress of architectural works for assigned projects
COORDINATION AND CONTROL
- Oversee the coordinators overall planning of architectural works, site inspections, progress of work, variation order and certification of work done for all assigned projects
- Review technical requirements and project plan to ensure adherence to defined standards
- Monitor and support coordinators for solution of clashes information from Design/BIM team or vice versa
- Monitor and support Architecture coordinators for project coordination to ensure smooth delivery of work including resolution of design and construction issues
- Review reports and other documentation prepared by the Architectural Coordinators including for the Consultant Progress and Technical Meetings
- Monitor and support coordinators for closing RFI/Technical Queries progress
- Provide advice on all architectural related matters
- Ensure project operations are in compliance with ISO 9001; 14001; OHSAS 18001 standard requirements, documented procedures as well as client, companies and authorities’ requirements
CUSTOMER MANAGEMENT
- Build strong working relationships with clients, contractors and consultants
- Maintain a cooperative relationship with all legislative, approval bodies and authorities, etc.
PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT
- Enhancing the architectural team performance, delegating responsibility, assign ownership of the work and create environment of respect and fairness in architecture team
- Align individual wishes to project/company direction
- Sharing expertise with team members to improve teamwork and better team performance
- Provide orientation and training to ensure staff builds required skills and function well as a team
- Provide regular feedback and acknowledge on team performance Conduct performance appraisals regularly and in a timely manner
- Coach and guide staff
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Recognised Degree / Diploma in Architectural, Engineering or equivalent
- Min 8 years relevant working experience, preferably in the Construction Industry with main con
- Self-driven and independent with sense of urgency to meet deadlines
- Good oral, written, & inter-personal skills in dealing with individuals and groups at all levels
