- Department: Technology- Location: Singapore- As a Manager/Senior Manager, UED - User Growth & Engagement, you play a vital role in our key battle of user growth and engagement paving the path through the practice of customer centricity design and systematic thinking. You will be hands-on with the end-to-end design for some of our most critical growth and engagement products, programs, and platforms at Lazada, working and collaborating with other designers, and cross-functional regional and local teams.
- You believe that every growth and engagement product and programs are built to be part of a system for the end customer.
- Your portfolio has best-in-class craftsmanship, solved by the marriage of a great user experience, proper functionality, and the understanding of the customer. Your designs are clean, elegant and aesthetically sound.
- You are willing to do what it takes to understand and solve problems.
- You know that understanding and framing problem intimately is crucial to solving it well. On some days, you might be conducting an observational user study to understand how customers use a new feature, or you might be analyzing BI data to understand why this feature is not performing as well as expected. You are also able to articulate your findings back to the team and come up with actionable recommendations.
- You’re not afraid to design in the open.
- You should be very comfortable in showing incomplete work with the team. We share work-in-progress design solutions work regularly within the team. You believe in striking the right balance of customer testing to validate ideas and design. This ensures that you are always on-track and moving in the right direction.
- You are a great collaborator.
- You have excellent communication and collaboration skills to present well and explain design solutions to cross-functional teams. You find comfortable working closely with international cross-functional teams based in China, Southeast to align with business/product strategies.

**Job Requirements**
- 3-5 years of work experience in UI/UX.
- Have successfully shipped products.
- Background in human-computer interaction, industrial design, visual communication, or education-related design disciplines will be desirable.
- Be able to prototype designs in lo-fidelity and hi-fidelity as required
- Be familiar in designing for mobile, native apps and web
- Be proficient in design and prototyping tools like Sketch, Figma and others
