Maintenance Engineer

**Maintenance Engineer - Planning and Scheduling**

In this role, you will:

- Performs and manages the engineering master data, calibration and maintenance task list and orders in both Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (SAP and Maximo). Monitors and reports orders overdue. Performs tracking of KPI for utilities consumption, cost spend and CMMS data. Support compliance and financial audit relating to CMMS orders and system.
- Liaise and co-ordinate activities with IPT’s team to ensure continuous support to the site and participate in Weekly and monthly production planning meeting.
- Working closely with the Production planners and maintenance engineer’s implementation and execution of preventive /Corrective maintenance and Spares Inventory Management.
- Lead investigation related to the planning and scheduling and identify the effective CAPA.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Generate PM work orders in SAP from the Preventive Maintenance (PM) plans projecting 45 days in advance on a daily basis and Release and schedule PM work orders to maintenance technicians.
- Responsible for advanced preparation of maintenance jobs, so that the execution can be performed efficiently and successfully
- Monitor and report PM status and overdue reports weekly to IPT maintenance Lead, Engineering Manager and maintenance engineers.
- Creation of the daily schedule, taking into account changes due to personnel, production demands, emergency and emergent issues.
- Daily adjustments to the established weekly schedule. This role is responsible for adjusting the next available work period to account for changes in resources, job priority, asset availability or carry over work. - Assigns the work to the craft people performing the work and is responsible for coaching and training a committed and responsible maintenance team.
- Provides the equipment related expertise and technical guidance necessary to resolve issues that surface during job execution.
- Schedules and assists in liaising with end-users in the planned maintenance, calibration, and predictive maintenance programme.
- Coordinates maintenance needs with operational functions to minimize downtime. Good skills with coordination and negotiation with production for windows for maintenance activities during planning meeting, prior to maintenance activity execution
- Communication with Asset Owner (Production Planner) and Maintenance Daily Scheduler on: The weekly scheduling of maintenance work, which includes coordination with the Asset Owner/ equipment custodian and allocation of all resources required to complete specific jobs. Changing availabilities of both equipment and craft and be ready to take maximum advantage of both by looking for such things as upcoming Outages, Shutdowns, Vacations, Holidays, Training, Changeover/Setups.
- Estimates and defines requirements for total labor, materials, special tools, equipment, and skill sets, for all work maintenance activities. Make sure all of them available for technician to execute the maintenance activities.
- Plan Plant shutdown activities and facilitate daily shutdown meeting during shutdown and update the activity status to entire IPT team.
- Identify activities which require shutdown, being able to provide forecast or lookahead of maintenance shutdown window required
- Actively communicate with equipment engineers regarding pending maintenance activities and highlight potential issues regarding their execution
- Review PM extension execution and provide guidance on Floc, Equipment and PM creation in SAP.
