IT Product Conception Lead **Preferred Education Qualifications**: Bachelor/Masters in Computer Science Or Equivalent Experience **Reporting To**: IT Upstream Operations Department Head **Required Work Experience**: 10+ Years **KEY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES**: Within L'Oréal Operations, the Product Conception Domain is responsible for product and packaging specifications, processing specifications, artwork management, qualification, launch management, and sustainability. The scope also includes all expertise tools linked to product and packaging development, as well as transversal technologies like LCNC, AI, and GenAI. At the zone level, this domain also plays a key transversal role in master data management during the transition from conception to production - Develop IT vision/mission, roadmaps and policies including security and quality - Translate the IT master plan into an operational plan for the Domain, including financial, human and material aspects - Liaise with Global Domain Leader and Geo. Department Leader for alignment on the Global/Zone strategic plan and roadmap - Liaise with Domain Architect and Solution Expert for technical design and delivery of services - Contribute to the identification of global service catalog opportunities with the global Domain lead and Geo. Department Lead, taking into account market, benchmark, state of innovation developing IT vision/mission, roadmaps and policies including security and quality - Lead service improvement process, ensuring the continuous improvement of end-to-end service - Monitor and control KPIs, metrics and SLAs and oversee performance for global and zone apps related to his/her Domain - Understand and manage vendor contracts (Technical, business and Legal aspects) - Identify project risks and define action plans to mitigate - Manage the internal/external human resources within his/her scope of responsibility with the support of local HR - Contribute to the definition of the Global / Zone BUILD budget held by the Department by identifying the BUILD Budget needs for his/her domain - Consolidate the Run budget assigned to his/her Domain even if the Run budget is owned by SDM **PROFESSIONAL & TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES**: - Facilitates knowledge management and expertise transmission - Rapidly acquire new knowledge on IT solutions and keep constantly updated on technological opportunities and market trends in his/her field - Organize at his/her level the relevant transmission of the technical and/or project management skills and know-how - Decode and influence - Clarify and simplify technical concepts/solutions to facilitate action and decision-making - Listen actively to his partners/clients, to decode needs, qualify them properly and transform them into relevant solutions - Take change management and communication initiatives to facilitate the implementation of solutions and user satisfaction - Act with strong transversal management skills - Have an ability to coach, challenge and develop teams in a cross-functional environment and/or matrixed organization - Manage efficient interactions with both internal and external contributors to win support - Manage methodology, timing, budget and resource allocation on projects (independently of the role) within the organization - Act as a proactive business partner - Imagine and promote alternative options/solutions to match client needs - Understands the "big picture" of the business, the operating model, the processes and the roles within the organizations - Know project management and methodologies - Know L'Oréal Project Management Methodologies (e.g. Agile) - Understand approaches to define project steps and tools to set up action plans
