The Chief Concierge is responsible in assisting the Front Office Manager in directing and supervising the operations of Concierge, Bellhop and Valet services. He/she would also need to continuously improve the service efficiency of the Bellhop team.
- Appraises appearance, courtesy and efficiency of Concierge, Bellhop team and valet attendants to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensures that guests are attended to with promptness, courtesy and efficiency and that related guests’ complaints are handled with tact and diplomacy.
- Provide guests with up-to-date information on local attractions and places of interests.
- Assist guests with travel arrangements.
- Manage room assignments, arrange breakfast venue and coordinate luggage movements of leisure groups.
- Work closely with Security personnel on traffic management of hotel main driveway.
- To ensure taxi queue management is being executed smoothly and Taxi are being called promptly.
- Attended to complaint as first guest contact at lobby.
- To communicate closely with Travel Desk on the Tour Reference.
- To update Front Office team on the existing and new tourist attraction in Singapore
- Prepare monthly newspaper, limousine and coach transfer expense analysis for payment.
- Prepare purchase requisition as and when required.
- Prepare yearly operating equipment CAPEX.
- Assists Front Office Manager in the selection and recruitment of staff.
- Maintains discipline of staff and handles staff grievances Prepare duty roster and attendance sheet
