**What You’ll Do**:
As a **Design Engineering Intern**, you'll drive innovation from concept to commercialization. Working closely with cross-functional partners—including Product Management, Customer Experience, Manufacturing, Material Engineering, and Technology teams - you’ll deliver thoughtful, high-quality designs that are both aesthetically refined and ready for high-volume manufacturing.
**Let’s**talk about**Responsibilities**
- Support **concept generation**through sketching, idea development, and feasibility exploration.
- Assist in **3D CAD modelling**and creation of 2D drawings under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Help build and test **prototypes**using 3D printing, lab equipment, or hands-on bench methods.
- Participate in **design reviews**, testing activities, and documentation of results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including V&V, Manufacturing, and Materials Engineering.
**What You Bring**
**Required**:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in **Mechanical Engineering**, Product Design, Industrial Design**, or a related field.
- Strong interest in **end-to-end product development**, not just one phase.
- Familiarity with **3D CAD software**(e.g., Creo, SolidWorks, NX).
- Strong attention to detail, curiosity, and a willingness to learn.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
**Preferred**:
- Experience with **prototyping tools**(e.g., 3D printers, hand tools).
- Exposure to **design thinking**or **user-centered**design methodologies.
- Team player who enjoys collaborative problem solving.
