**About the role**:
As the Assistant Manager - Accounting and Finance, you will be responsible for maintaining the accounting records for the entities within the Aspire Group. You will report directly to the Head of Accounting. We are looking for a responsible and resilient individual who is eager to take charge in resolving issues related to finance and operations.
**What you will be doing**:
- Manage the day-to-day accounting and finance operations, in areas such as General ledger, Receivables, Payables, CAPEX
- Ensure that the monthly bookkeeping is performed correctly and in accordance with the SFRS/IFRS
- Support other departments within Aspire with operational finance and accounting matters (primarily Product, Legal, HR teams)
- Coordinate with financial auditors annually or as required
- Supervise and provide guidance to Accounting Intern and Accountants on the Finance team
- Support and perform other ad-hoc accounting and finance duties
**We would love to get to know you if you have the following**:
- 4 - 6 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with hands on experience on Xero accounting system
- Comfortable working with large sets of data in order to maintain and perform monthly accounting activities
- Prior experience in technology or financial services industries will be strongly preferred.
- Experience in regional or international markets preferred
- Strong verbal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Extraordinary business acumen and ability to see the big picture and dive deep as required
