The assigned Contractor personnel is required for day-to-day support of VSP and HCP, troubleshooting, problem resolution, installation and configuration administration.

The Contractor personnel is required to respond to any incident on 24 hours, 7 days a week basis, and report onsite within 2 hours if required.

The Contractor personnel is required to work with Board’s operations team to perform day to day operational management tasks for the VSP and HCP.

The operational tasks may be carried out outside of the Support Hours and the Contractor personnel will be compensated with the corresponding off-in-lieu accordingly.
- Perform administration, capacity planning, provisioning configuration task for VSP, SAN Directors, SAN Switches, HCP and Network Attached Storage.
- Perform on-boarding of new projects for VSP and HCP.
- Perform administration, configuration and troubleshooting for Hitachi Content Intelligent and Hitachi Content Management.
- Perform tenant and namespace management for HCP.
- Perform components health checks for VSP and HCP.
- Participate in cross-platform, cross-domain troubleshooting of VSP and HCP related issues.
- Provide VSP and HCP operational reports using available tools.
- Maintain an up-to-date Hitachi Vantara equipment configuration documentation, incorporating configuration changes carried out on the hardware and software.
- Ensure software / firmware versions are not outdated and still maintained by the principal vendor. (Running at least version “N-1”, where N is the latest, or recommended stable version by principal vendor).
- Perform preventive maintenance.
- Assess / verify each device model / platform within one week of CVE release / vulnerability announcements from the principal vendor with emphasis on CVEs rated as CRITICAL or HIGH impact.
- Identify vulnerabilities affecting the Board’s environment and corresponding fix version (if any) or any available workaround.
- Propose fixes / upgrades / workarounds if necessary.
- Plan and deploy patches / upgrades to remediate issues, vulnerabilities, etc.
- Participate in Change Management.
- Support for Disaster Recovery testing.
- Assist with Incident / Problem Management of VSP and HCP related issues (at L3 Level); log calls with Hitachi Vantara support and follow up till the issues are closed.
