**Key Responsibilities**
Oversee the delivery of strategy execution and performance improvement initiatives across SATS Group; Ensures major initiatives in flow support strategy execution and results delivery; Co-ordinates and reports progress on all business strategic initiatives and performance improvement projects across SATS globally.
Primary responsibility as SPOC for the implementation, adoption and on-going operation and maintenance of a global project and portfolio management system, including system operation and performance, local user engagement, training and adoption, reports configuration and production.
Secondary responsibility as leader of a developing role as global coordinator of cargo installed hardware systems to collate, disseminate and leverage existing best and innovative future practices for SATS and WFS Gateway facilities world-wide, effectively creating a CoE for Gateway Engineering Solutions.
**Key responsibilities**
- Co-ordinates and prepares progress reports on all business strategic initiatives and performance improvement projects across SATS globally for senior leadership review
- Ensures major initiatives in flow are tracking in line with expected results delivery, and identifying and flagging risk or potential risks to that objective
- Work with project teams to develop achievable corrective action plans where projects have been identified as off track or at risk
- Acts as Senior Point of Contact (SPOC) in relation to a to-be-identified technology-based Global Project Portfolio Management System; To be involved in the initial tool selection process and thereafter its on-going operation and maintenance. To be the SATS Group ‘Super-user’ able to provide support and training to project managers across all regions ,and to support and implement upgrades and customization features within the limitations of the system
- Provide oversight and training support for a to-be selected suite of ‘SATS approved’ project management tools to be made available to project managers to adopt at their discretion according to individual project requirements
**Key Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration, project management, engineering, or a related discipline
- At least 8 years of experience in project management related or operational roles, preferably with supervisory experience in leading projects
- Strong team orientation, adaptability, and ability to work across geographies and teams - including work hours that can extend across global time zones
- Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders in global locations
