KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES This role is key in supporting the Business and Enterprise requirements for any OTC Derivatives Regulatory Reporting initiatives for the firm. Requirements Gathering: Analyses and validates requirements using a systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving. Conducts impact assessment to identify the "as-is" processes, systems, and the "future" processes, systems and structures. Performs data analysis to cleanse & standardize data and to ensure data consistency and quality. Performs gaps and resolutions analysis. Ensures requirements are complete. Documents requirement/processes using industry standard notations. Maintains relationships with stakeholders and obtains formal signoff of all requirement documentation. Liaises with service providers to ensure understanding of requirements and limitations of solutions. Solution Assessment and Validation: Works closely with the IT, vendor and Business teams to ensure solutions are optimal. Validates data mapping between data sources and vendor reporting platform. Implementation Support: Provides project support to the impacted teams during implementation phases, including answering queries, trouble shooting, liaison with service provider, providing regular reporting. Assist the business with UAT, including communication, planning, and test case preparation GENERAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES Has strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively and proactively with external and internal stakeholders. Experience in working as a business analyst within the asset management, capital markets or equivalent industries Is self-motivated, self-driving and independent. Attentive to detail and able to handle ambiguity. Fully fluent in standard office technology Experienced in using business analyst methods such as flow charting, requirements capturing, stakeholder analysis, use cases, brainstorming, solution prototyping, and traceability. DOMAIN SPECIFIC ATTRIBUTES: Experience in EMIR or MAS Reporting for OTC Derivatives (Transactions, positions, and collateral). Familiar with European regulatory oversight practices (EMIR/CSSF/ESMA). Familiarity with DTCC Trade Repository reports, alerts and resubmission processes. Familiarity with Derivatives trade processing platforms like Calypso is a plus. Familiarity with Cappitech/ISH Markit transaction reporting platform is a plus. QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE: Degree in Business/Finance or related disciplines 3-5 years Financial Services BA experience (Asset management or capital markets desirable) Excellent customer focus and high level of accuracy, and attention to detail Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of the small team Experience in Data mapping Analysis and change management Strong analytical and communication skills Fluency in both written and spoken English
