The Manufacturing Supervisor will supervise a group of assemblers and team leaders in a functional area so that the department objectives (schedules, performance, quality, etc.) are met. You will coordinate and give directions of activities to support manufacturing at night. You are the single point for any night shift cross functional issue (line down, material shortage, etc) or emergency.

**A Day in the Life**
- Responsible for work assignment, manpower planning, department leading, production cross training and employee relations.
- Responsible for the Daily WIP analysis and managing of daily rates.
- Responsible to interpret and monitor employees to ensure adherence to processes, policies, procedures, and Department work rules related to quality, labor laws and safety.
- Assure that the proper training is executed and documented as per policies.
- Recommend possible solutions to correct problems with products and process.
- Verify and approve labor reports and maintain record of vacation hours of the employees in the work area.
- Conduct performance appraisals, discipline actions, and recommend salary increase in conjunction with Human Resources Manager as required.
- Assist Manufacturing/Industrial engineering in lean initiatives to maximize production flow, area layout, non-value added activities and special projects for productivity improvement.
- Perform material and WIP analysis of his/her area to minimize production disruption.
- Coordinate and conduct frequent meetings with operators, coordinators, and Engineers to discuss the problems or situations of the work areas assurance of the product quality.
- Ensures compliance with company programs/procedures regarding ISO, GMP, and safety.
- Perform operations analysis and audits to assure a high level of productivity and efficiency in the areas to achieve Defect per Million (DPM), yield %, scrap and Total Product Cycle Time (TPCT) goals.
- Assure the best use of resources to obtain a high level of productivity and continuous follow up to established metrics to monitor employee performance, efficiency, utilization and equipment downtime.
- Responsible of a timely manner execution and accuracy of manufacturing performance systems transactions (i.e. Kanban systems, Traceability, KRONOS, etc.).
- Work and implement special projects and programs as assigned by Direct Supervisor
- Supervise Assemblers and Team Leaders.
- Assist the Engineering and QA teams for the Product Review Board (PRB)
- Conduct regular Gemba Walk across the production floor.
- To enforce good conduct and disciplines to Night shift Production personnel,Technician, QE & ME.
- Address and if needed, escalate on quality issues, material shortages and equipment & machines failures

**Must Have**:

- A High School Diploma AND a minimum 5 years of manufacturing work experience OR An Associate’s Degree AND a minimum 2 years of manufacturing work experience OR A Bachelor’s Degree AND 1 year of manufacturing experience

**Your Profile**
- Minimum 3 to 5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Certification in Supervisory, Lean & Six Sigma will have an added advantage.
- Ability to effectively interface with QA, Manufacturing and Industrial Engineers on a technical level to accomplish the job goals and objectives.
- Strong communication skills to participate in multicultural and multi-departmental teams.
- Good report writing skills
- Computer literate
