Senior Data Center Field Technician

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide on-site and remote technical support for data center hardware and infrastructure.
- Perform core data center operations:Rack and stack servers and appliances
Set up cabling and connectivity
Deploy and decommission hardware
Manage inventory (scanning, reconciliation)
Troubleshoot offline or downed servers
Handle inbound and outbound shipping tickets
- Support network operations and assist in incident response for L1 and L2 issues.
- Execute hardware/software installations and break/fix tasks.
- Escalate complex issues and contribute to resolution planning.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through clear communication and timely service.
- Document procedures, incidents, and resolutions accurately.
- Participate in scheduled shifts or on-call rotations as needed.
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum **5 years**of experience in a data center or technical support role.
- Strong hands-on experience with server, storage, and networking hardware.
- Proficient in diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of IT infrastructure.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Capable of producing clear technical documentation and reports.
- Willingness to travel regionally or globally on short notice.
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, including evenings or weekends if required.
**Preferred Skills**:
- Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Network+, or equivalent.
- Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
- Familiarity with data center safety and operational standards.
- **Availability after standard office hours and on weekends is highly preferred.**:
