Ashford Benjamin are supporting a global bank who hiring within their APAC Credit Risk function. The jobholder will provide active risk management of a portfolio inclusive of both Corporates and Financial Institutions across APAC. You will provide end-to-end credit risk management, from origination of credit papers, credit analysis, approval of internal ratings, monitoring, escalation, and resolution of risk events. To be qualified, you must have circa 5 years of credit risk exposure which must include prior coverage of Asian Corporates (which can include coverage of a variety of industries - ranging from commodities, real estate, and infrastructure), and those with prior exposure to FI counterparties will be preferred, although this is not compulsory. Due to the nature of the role, you must be fluent within written and spoken Mandarin, and have strong technical knowledge of derivative products.
