**Some of the key responsibilities will include**:
- Lead the annual budgeting process, influencing and challenging the business/top down submissions by product and segment.
- Monitoring, understanding and challenging of performance for Corporate Banking/Investment Banking Operations.
- Manage the month end process.
- Provision of meaningful and insightful analysis on costs. To include explanation of key variances and preparation of commentaries on functional performance.
- Developing and maintaining an appropriate MIS reporting infrastructure produced by the offshore team to assist in the assessment of functional performance.
- Provision of advisory support with respect to development of strategic plans / annual business plans and new product development from a financial perspective.
- Develop and enhance relationships with Corporate Banking/Investment Banking Finance and other teams within the Group to ensure consistency of support, approach, and knowledge sharing.
- Involvement in Technology & Operations Finance and Group Finance projects.
- Review and enhance financial controls to minimise finance operational risk.
- Identify and implement process improvements, including the migration of activities to offshore support team.
**To be eligible for this role you will require**:
- Prior 8+ years.of experience.
- University educated, preferably graduated or graduating from Masters soon.
- Qualified Accountant i.e. CPA, CMA, ACCA or on path to acquiring qualifications.
