The Brand Director leads the Sales & Marketing (S&M) team to set the brand strategy, strengthen brand equity, and build the size, scale, and synergy across the portfolio of brands. She/He will be responsible for driving sales, through the development of new channels, and strengthening of existing ones.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead S&M team to direct business planning, marketing plans, portfolio management and development, market research, new product launches, business performance tracking, and multi-channel marketing efforts
- Responsible for communications, digital, social and CRM strategy, and content development across all sales channels
- Deliver an integrated, omni-channel experience that is customer-centric
- Achieve annual targets related to sales, net income, gross profit, inventory, and price. Manage A&P and other expenses within budget, while improving LUXASIA’s market position
- Work closely with Country Manager and Finance to develop and execute effective business plans focused on driving brands growth and profitability. Deliver results through cross functional collaboration with key business partners including field sales organization and other key regional stakeholders.
- Demonstrate leadership and build strategic partnerships externally with agencies and channel partners, and internally with functional support teams
- Stay ahead of industry trends and implement innovative ways of working, new tools, and marketing plans to drive new thinking across the marketing organization.
- Other responsibilities include fostering high-performance environment, ongoing talent development and building marketing competency in S&M team
**Requirements**:
- Degree in Sales/Marketing would be an advantage
- 10 years of marketing experience in beauty, retail or FMCG is required. Experience in Trade Marketing and/or Sales is a plus.
- A demonstrated track record of marketing leadership including consumer and professional marketing, social and digital marketing, brand building, data analytics, insight generation and agency management is required.
- Outstanding and clear communication skills; ability to think analytically to understand complex or ambiguous problems or issues and articulate solutions/conclusions clearly and concisely
- Strong leadership capabilities in guiding team towards the achievement of specified objectives
