Equipment & IT Administrator

The team member is responsible for ensuring that all company owned camera, audio, lighting, rigging and grip equipment is in tip-top working condition at all times, plus provides IT tech and admin support to the company’s Head of Technology.
**_For Equipment Management: _**
Prior experience working for a production company, broadcaster or educational establishment running an equipment ‘cage’ is a distinct advantage.
Duties include but are not limited to:
1. Routine daily cleaning, maintenance and repair of camera and audio systems.
2. Preparation of equipment for shoot and receiving / checking equipment after shoot.
3. Liaison with equipment servicing and repair centers.
4. Maintaining good relationships with Singapore equipment rental houses, including keeping up to date records of equipment rental rates.
5. Maintaining current research and technical information on commonly used camera systems.
6. Providing advice and recommendations to Producers regarding most suitable camera systems for specialized projects.
7. On-set / location camera assisting and set-up of data-wrangling and video village systems.
8. Purchase of new cameras and sale of decommissioned cameras.
**_For IT Administration & Support: _**
Duties include but are not limited to:
1. Maintain and manage organization’s hardware and software
2. Monitor and maintain networks and servers
3. Deploy and enforce security policies and procedures
4. Onboard and offboard employees
5. Fulfill IT service requests and technical assistance to end users
6. Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware and connection issues
7. Maintain knowledge of IT support, help desk procedures, products, and services
8. Document processes, back up and archive data
9. Keep up to date with advancements and best practices in IT administration
